Inline skate enthusiasts and skateboard riders will jump at the sheer joy of the Ocean City Maryland Municipal Ocean Bowl Skate Park. Loacated in downtown Ocean City on 3rd Street bayside, the skatepark is easily accesible and open to all with parental supervision encouraged for those under 18 years old. Boasting over 17,000 square feet of rideable surface, a large vert ramp (vertical ramp) and a smaller mini ramp the Ocean Bowl Skate Park is one of the best on the East Coast, let alone Maryland. The orginal skate park opened in the late 1970's, and many of the gang at ATLANTICBREEZES.COM were the first to ride the innovative and progressive park that opened to the public. Now, nearly 30 years later, the newly refurbished and well kept park is a proud mark of the Park and Recreation Department for the now well entrenched skateboarding industry.


All participants must wear knee pads, wrist guards, elbow pads, and helmets while in the park. A liability waiver must be signed by all participants and/or parents of children under 18 years of age. LEGAL GUARDIANS MUST BE PRESENT at registration, or the official waiver form with the guardian's signature must be notarized.

Summer Hours 9:30 a.m. to dark daily

Fall/Spring 11:30 a.m. to dark weekdays
                   9:30 a.m. to dark weekends and no school days

Dec - Feb. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 1:30 p.m. - dark 

BEGINNER'S HOURS are scheduled from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. daily during the summer months.  
Rules and Regulations:
1.  Registration required, under 18 years of age require parent or legal guardian at registration.
2. Helmets, knee and elbow pads, and shoes.  Inline also required wrist guards.
3. Proof of membership.
4. Only skateboards and inline skates.
5. Spectators not permitted into skate area.
6. Proper etiquette at all times.
7. No glass, alchohol, or drugs, no smoking.
8. No personal music players.
9. Reckless, troublesome, or inappropriate behaviour permitted.

Membership Fees
Annual Memberships run through June 30, and cost $45 for Ocean City Residents and $90 for Non residents. Non residents include residents of Berlin, West Ocean City, Salisbury, Delaware, etc. Daily passes are $12 each, and weekly passes may be purchased for $40. A limited number of pads and helmets are available for rent. Cost is $2 per helmet or pad set daily rates only.
